Daytona International Speedway, Round 3 in the RDLMS Championship, was full of surprises for World Connect Competition. The team was able to qualify 3rd out of 18 teams in the GT class, placing their car in 24th position out of 39 teams across 3 different categories. The potential for a strong race was evident and the team was aiming at a podium finish. However, during the race, fortune switched sides and scowled upon World Connect Competition. The Team was an innocent party in an accident which left the car limping behind the field with heavy damage, misfortune struck again when their race ended due to a technical problem.

Road Atlanta, Round 4 of the RDLMS Championship, put a different challenge in front of the team, a shortcoming of personnel! Thankfully the team was able to overcome this challenge as Michael Labelle literally jumped into the car as 3rd driver. The race itself was mainly uneventful for World Connect Competition. Although there was a chance for a better position, the final result shows 8th in GT class, finishing 21st overall.

World Connect Competition is now looking forward to the last race of the RDLMS Season, a 12 Hours Event at the famous Le Mans Circuit, also known as La Sarthe. Confidence and excitement are rather high as the Team was able to find two team-mates who will support World Connect Competition at La Sarthe and hopefully in the future too.
